Ethernet Configuration Instructions Windows 98/ME TCP/IP Configuration
In the Network section of your Control Panel, the following changes need to be made to the TCP/IP properties for the Ethernet card in your computer: To get to the TCP/IP properties section:
Select "Obtain an IP address automatically" DNS Configuration:
Click on the 'DNS Configuration' tab. Select "Disable DNS" Click OK Windows NT TCP/IP Configuration.
In the Network section of your Control Panel, the following changes need to be made to the TCP/IP properties for the Ethernet card in your computer: To get to the TCP/IP properties section:
Select "Obtain an IP address from a DHCP server" DNS Configuration:
Click on the 'DNS' tab. Enter a hostname (This can be anything you choose. You can put 'mycomputer' if you choose.) Click OK NOTE: A reboot may be required after configuration. Windows 2000 TCP/IP Configuration
